WATERFORD — Waterford Sports & Recreation is hosting two holiday-themed field trips for members of the community.

Kittery Christmas Shopping: Thursday, Nov. 30. A day of shopping in Kittery will offer 120 outlet stores at a savings of 25 to 65 percent. The van will leave Waterford at 8 a.m., with lunch at the Weathervane Seafood Restaurant at 11 a.m., then back in Waterford at 5 p.m. The van will also be stopping at Walmart in Oxford at 8:20 a.m. for those who wish to meet there. Cost for the trip is $15. 

Magic of Christmas at Merrill Auditorium: Friday, Dec. 8. The day includes some shopping at the Maine Mall in Portland and lunch at the Old Country Buffet followed by the Magic of Christmas show. The bus leaves Bridgton at 10 a.m. for the Maine Mall, with shopping from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. then lunch at the Old Country Buffet at 12:30 p.m. After lunch, the bus will leave in time for the 2 p.m. show at Merrill Auditorium, arriving back at the Bridgton Town Office at 6 p.m. There are still a few tickets left. Cost for the trip is $45.
