BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — Richard E. Arseneau, 86, passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, at his home. He was born and raised in Bourbonnais, Ill.

He served his country in the Korean War from 1951-1953, and in 1953 was honorably discharged with the rank of corporal. Rick loved life and also loved playing bridge!

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Paul, Pat and William Arseneau; and two sisters, Delores Lergner and Margaret Donar.

He leaves behind a wife, Midge Arseneau; one son, Wayne Werts and wife, Debra; one daughter, Renae Hayes and husband, Kevin; three grandchildren, Joshua, Samantha and Anthony Torbert; and six great-grandchildren. He also leaves one sister, Ramona Sittig and husband, Art; a brother, Robert Arseneau; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
