TURNER — MSAD 52 Adult and Community Education will offer three classes about money matters and taxes.

“Itemizing” will be held Monday, Nov. 2. The presentation will answer questions about itemizing.

A class on Monday, Nov. 9, will cover what constitutes a small business, how to determine if it is a hobby or a business, how expenses should and can be taken of and what qualifies as a home office.

On Monday, Nov. 16, a course will touch on the first-time buyers credit, what is deductible and how to handle the sale of a personal home as well as a home partly used for business.

There is also time to sign up for the Adult, Child and Infant CPR class. The two-week class will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Participants will learn how to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and how to recognize and care for life threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies.
