Radio personality Paul Harvey was popular with a segment of the U.S. population. His delivery was a bit stiff and predictable. His son exaggerates when he says that his dad and mom created radio and TV news out of thin air. H.V. Kaltenborn, Lowell Thomas and Ed Morrow preceded him, and they weren’t the very first, either.

I’m sure Harvey’s fans will miss him.
