As a property owner and a pedestrian, I am appalled by the lack of responsibility some landlords are showing toward their tenants and properties.

As I walk to work each day during the 5 p.m. traffic, I must walk in the streets and try to avoid being hit by a car because landlords have not cleared their sidewalks.

I hope they are being denied mail services.

It should not be up to the tenants to clear the yard, nor the sidewalk or stairs. The only thing tenants should have to do is clear snow from their cars.

Landlords such as those give good landlords a bad name. They need to get off their duffs and clean up the sidewalks.
