It was interesting to note that Jean Domaingue, in her letter to the editor Jan. 27, pronounced how proud she was of her country after witnessing the inauguration of Barack Obama on Jan. 20. I expect she did not realize, and obviously was not made aware by the biased media, that President George W. Bush was jeered while people sang “Nah, nah, nah, nah, hey, hey, hey, good bye.”
That was an interesting way of ushering in a new beginning of hope and unity. Perhaps her party can learn from Bush and his class act in welcoming incoming President Obama and his wife.
The jeering, along with the middle finger presentation by some in the crowd as Bush was leaving on his helicopter, showed no class.
By the way, I am sure that the media refused to show the warm response that Bush received by more than 20,000 people as he flew into Midland, Texas.
Perhaps some could learn from this positive and classy reception.
