As our country enters one of the toughest economic periods in the last 80 years, it is important to elect people that are going to put us back on the right track. We need to support the working class here in Maine. Deb Simpson has focused on these issues while serving us in Augusta. Her work has expanded the circuit breaker tax rebate and prohibited government from taking homes through eminent domain for private development.

Her common sense legislation protects consumers from predatory corporations, allowing us to receive cash back on gift cards and preventing price gouging during emergencies.

Additionally, Deb is looking toward the future with alternative energy sources that will not only begin to reduce our reliance on foreign oil at a local level, but will also provide millions of new jobs.

For these reasons I am supporting Deb Simpson for State Senate.
