During door-to-door visits seeking re-election to the Oxford County Commission, a common question was “why are you running as an Independent candidate?”

I do not believe in partisan county government.

Voting on an issue along a party line is wrong and often not in the best interest of the people.

I serve town managers, selectmen, emergency response personnel and all residents. I believe all county officials should run campaigns based on their own skills and experience, not the coattails of a party.
