I just wanted to share some thoughts about Angela Courchesney, the young lady who is running for the House District 87 spot that Rep. Ray Pineau is leaving.

I have known her for five or six years. My wife and I attended church with her and her mother in North Jay. I got to know her more personally when my son took track and field at Jay High School. She took it upon herself to help him and some other students with some technique problems they were having.

I learned, then, how much she cared about other people – by the way she willingly gave of her free time.

She is a very energetic and caring person, honest and well grounded.

It is time for some new ideas in Augusta. The same-old, same-old is not working.

I hope others will join me in voting for Angela Courchesney.
