Because of the current disarray in the world economy, our state government faces extraordinary fiscal challenges in the years ahead. Our communities need strong representation in the Legislature. We need imaginative solutions and must require both effectiveness and efficiency from our government.

These hard times require someone who understands the critical importance of maintaining our social infrastructure when our neighbors are under great economic stress. Peggy Dwyer, with her combination of work experience within government and in the private sector, as well as her hands-on experience caring for those with special needs, will bring the right combination of courage, energy, creativity, and compassion to the work of a state legislator.

The communities of House District 81 – Leeds, Livermore Falls, Livermore, and Wayne – should vote on Nov. 4 to send Peggy Dwyer to Augusta.
