I watched the Palin-Biden debate Oct. 7. Both candidates did very well. I was extremely impressed with Palin in that she can relate to the average person and what we deal with in everyday life. I think most of our leaders in Washington, D.C., have been disconnected for so long that they can’t remember what it is to have needs or be overtaxed when you don’t have money to begin with.

John McCain and Sarah Palin say they will clean up corruption and greed in Washington and on Wall Street. Admittedly Palin doesn’t have 30 years of experience, but she has capability and desire. She’s already done a great job in Alaska, and can do the same for the rest of the country.

I have too many unanswered questions about Barack Obama … his associations with many questionable people for one. The other major problem for me is that he is known even by his own party to be far more left and liberal than any other Democrat, yet he tries to portray that he’s middle of the road. Does he expect anyone to believe that?

I think he will show his true colors if he becomes president. Then and only then will his liberal agenda come to the forefront. We may also see many of his associates getting into public office.

I wouldn’t take a chance and hope that he will make a better future for America. He will not.
