Susan Collins’ television ads claim she has been good for small business while Tom Allen has not. The problem is that these ads support the theory that the Bush economic policies are good for small business.

Collins has supported the Bush economic policies, every one of them, 100 percent of the time. Small business is hurting like never before.

Collins supported all of the Bush tax cuts which enriched the wealthy.

Collins favored the Medicare drug plan which cost seniors billions and enriched drug companies.

Tom Allen opposed these programs.

Allen voted for regulations on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2005, which could have helped to avoid the financial meltdown the nation is now experiencing.

Collins and the Republicans killed those regulations in the Senate.

It is clear Tom Allen is better for small business.
