When something within a church goes wrong, the media feel the need to publish it (“Sex charges filed against Weld man,” Sept. 5), but when something happens elsewhere – a library or a restaurant, for example – nobody feels the need to publish or even acknowledge it.

I have served my country, as is my son now, and I am ashamed at the way America is persecuting churches.

If we want America back, then we need God back in America today.
