Candidates running for president currently have spent two years and more money than has ever been spent on campaigning in the past. They can’t do their own jobs properly when they’re so busy posturing and trying to fool the general public into thinking they really mean what they’re saying and that they can really pull off what they say they could if they became president.
I wonder if someone could determine whether spending that much time and money campaigning actually helps or hurts a candidate? I would like to see a six-month limit on campaigning.
It seems like every presidential election year the nation’s economy takes a dip. It took a big dip this year and it wasn’t all due to banks and oil prices.
I wonder if the politicians in this country will stop backbiting long enough to really be leaders as they should, or will things get worse? It’s time for them to wake up and think about the country instead of their own political gain.
I know that there are people in this country who would believe almost anything. But, it’s hard for me to believe that so many would believe all the rhetoric that spews out of Sen. Barack Obama’s mouth. His stance on things changes like the wind. He says only what he thinks people want to hear. It’s so obvious.
He is known, even by other liberal Democrats, to be the most liberal of all.
