The flag project displayed on the front page of the Sun Journal April 16 displayed the ultimate disrespect for our national emblem. Artistic license is no excuse for such behavior. A code of behavior for handling and displaying the nation’s flag exists, which everyone is expected to adhere to.

A rallying call of our forefathers was “Don’t Tread on Me.” I believe that statement is still true.
