I think the editorial cartoon April 13 does a disservice to who Charlton Heston was.
It was an outrageously negative illustration.
Perhaps the cartoonist thought it was funny. That is one thing wrong with today’s society – accepting something as funny when it is really done in bad taste.
Why not use something showing respect, instead of negativity?
Heston spent his life in dedication to others. The cartoon depicts heaven frowning on Heston’s convictions.
I don’t think it is ethical to pick on a recently deceased person.
Was the cartoonist trying to hurt Heston’s image, his family and friends?
