It’s a real shame the veterans memorial event in Rumford was disrupted by false claims by another “want to be.”

Earl Scott May did something great to praise Vietnam veterans, but then had to ruin it, by trying to be another “want to be.” There are many who claim to be Vietnam veterans, or veterans of other wars, in order to help themselves in feeling important.

This is really a sad day for those who had plans for attending the memorial event.

I feel event organizers should still go forward, with another person taking charge.
