Why do our politicians always think about giving tax breaks to the rich? They also talk about the middle class people who own small businesses. I have heard it said that if a person earns less than $13,000 per year, he or she is living below poverty level; so, if I am making $6,000, do I even exist for them? I must be truly insignificant.
My question is: How come politicians don’t talk about the poor who still have to pay high taxes?
A fomer president once said that no American should go without the necessities of life. So, why do our politicians never mention the poor of the world?
And why does this country have so many prisons? Probably more than any other country in the world. I believe that this country is built on crime, not freedom. Germany, Sweden and other European contries have fewer prisons, and, I believe, more freedom.
Can anyone tell me why there is so much crime in this country? Is it because there is so much mental illness?
