Ed Desgrosseilliers, candidate for the state senate, is a natural leader. He was a scoutmaster, a leader in the military, a leader among letter carriers and is chairman of the Auburn City Democratic Committee. Recently, he again demonstrated his leadership abilities when a less than perfect city revaluation resulted in a near riot. Desgrosseilliers helped calm the protesters and was selected to be the voice for the disenchanted. He helped found United Citizens of Auburn, a group seeking fairness in local property taxation.

His aim is to get results.

Desgrosseilliers will do well in Augusta when he becomes a senator. He will not hesitate to cross party lines when he deems it necessary for the good of Maine citizens. I will be supporting Ed Desgrosseilliers on Nov. 7.
