I am writing in support of Wayne Gallant for sheriff of Oxford County.

Gallant brings to this important job decades of experience as a police officer and, later, detective in Rumford as well as chief of police in Wilton.

His qualifications in addressing the critical issues of family violence, property crime and drug abuse are extensive.

His record testifies to a consistent dedication to community betterment with numerous associations, task forces and councils.

However, what may be even more important than all of this, for Oxford County this year, is his unimpeachable reputation for integrity.
