Welcome to Lewiston-Auburn, the Twin Cities of trash and litter. It doesn’t matter whether you walk or drive a vehicle, you can see trash and litter everywhere.
Good grief, people, businesses provide trash cans on their premises. Use them. There is trash and litter all over people’s private homes and businesses, school grounds, sidewalks and parking lots. It’s everywhere.
Whatever happened to litter bags? People could carry them in their vehicles if it’s too difficult to lift a cover on a trash can.
Everyone needs to help keep our Twin Cities trash- and litter-free.
That also applies to cigarette smokers. It’s unbelievable, all the cigarette butts all over. It’s disgusting to see it all.
Whatever happened to respect? People should respect business properties, private homes, the streets and sidewalks, parking lots, etc.
We can all pitch in, make a difference by keeping our Twin Cities free of trash, litter and cigarette butts. It is not difficult to do. And parents should have a talk with their children, because youngsters play a major role by littering.
Let’s pitch in and make a difference.
