All you hear all day on those two-way walkie-talkies in Lewiston is vulgarity, threats, slander and harassment. Kids under the age of 18 should not buy them because all they will hear is swearing, harassing and people calling other people pedophiles.

I have an 18-mile range walkie-talkie, and that’s all I hear all day and all night. It’s the same way on CB radios.

I want to get this message out to the parents in Lewiston and Auburn. The Lewiston police have come on the walkie-talkies and warned people that if this keeps up, all radios will be confiscated, but people using the walkie-talkies don’t seem to care.
