This is a reply to Tom Bulger’s letter to the editor, printed July 16.
I find Bulger’s comparison of our president to King George III nothing but typical liberal bunk.
I would much rather have no taxation with representation any time. This economy is doing well because of it. I think it would have been far worse without it.
I also got a kick out of comparing The New York Times’ leak of national security to King George punishing his subjects. These terrorists we were spying on were not commoners, as Bulger puts it.
Yes, I do think the president is visited by past patriots; not haunting him, but giving high-fives saying, “That-a-boy, George.”
The government is created of the people, for the people and by the people. People elected the current president – twice, the last time I looked. I am sure he feels he is doing the best he can in this crazy world of ours.
Protecting us is his first priority, not listening to liberals who compare the president of the United States to King George III.
