I believe that liberal Democrats should not have controlling power of the federal government during time of war. I’m not saying that Democrats should never have control, just that the current voice of the party is too liberal, stuck in the past, fighting a police-action type of war, such as was the case with Korea and Vietnam.

The war we are in now is not with a country, but with people who desire our destruction. Sometimes we can identify the country that harbors terrorists and then find them.

Liberal Democrats have claimed that there were no weapons of mass destruction. I find that attitude to be showing a dangerous lack of judgment, on the verge of being criminally foolish and irresponsible on their part.

Prior to the terrorist attack of Sept. 11, who would look at a passenger jet and see a guided missile? Weapons of mass destruction are out there. The liberal Democrats say no. Are we, as a country, willing to risk everything we know and love on their judgment?
