Let me see, unnecessary and illegal invasion of a country that was no threat to the U.S.; misrepresenting prewar intelligence; ignoring a majority of the world’s countries and about half of all Americans opposed to going to war in Iraq; inserting 9/11 as an “excuse-all reason” even though Iraq wasn’t involved in any way with 9/11; porous borders and a White House weak on illegals; outing a covert CIA agent; covering up administration personnel’s involvement in the outing; lousy response to the “blue” state hit by Hurricane Katrina; illegal NSA, Pentagon and DOE monitoring of U.S. citizens (no warrants); failure to find Bin Laden (got Saddam, though. No more trying to “kill my dad”); selling out the country’s interests to a vocal minority of “fundamentalist Christians (like Islamists without the terror attacks); cutting social spending for the poor and middle class; phony Medicare drug benefit (unless you’re a drug company); tax cuts for the well-off and wealthy, etc.
Yet many proclaim that President Bush is righteous, fair, moral and honest.
Must just be me, as I don’t get the logic.
