After enough precincts reported, and news services were calling it a victory for “No on 1,” television news was saying that Paul Madore stated that he was proud of the campaign that the “Yes On 1” campaign ran.

Considering the facts that some urging a yes used lies to gather signatures by saying that people were signing to ban gay marriage, which is not even a part of the legislation; that they trespassed, according to the Catholic Church, by going onto church property to place fliers on windshields of vehicles; and they used illegal campaign tactics by distributing fliers that did not state on them who paid for them, I think it is time for the people of Maine to sit up and take notice.

If the supposed grassroots groups resort to those tactics claiming to represent Christianity, I believe any true Christian now can see right through them.
