A referendum being presented to the voters should be neutral in content. Question 1 is prejudicial in its working. In essence, it is implying that you as an individual dare reject a new law passed by the Legislature. It neglects to mention that in passing this law, the Legislature again is flouting the will of the people, who have spoken clearly in two past referendums, that no means no!
Some legislators have children and have tried to teach them that no means no. This apparently don’t apply the rule to themselves.
The vast majority of the state citizens never come in contact with the subject of this new law and probably are not personally concerned one way or another.
All the laws in the world will not change man’s natural aversion to the unnatural.
People that offer public accommodations have families and children and should be able to have the freedom to choose those they wish to associate with.
