Being a faithful steward requires discipline, restraint and, most of all, respect for that which is being cared for. We have not been faithful stewards in regard to our own precious Earth.
The intelligent design that went into creating our planet included the ability of self-preservation. When the perfect balance of such an Eden is disrupted and contorted to such an extent as it has been, then the consequences will become evident as it has all around us.
The rain forests are being destroyed at an alarming rate. Greenhouse gases are depleting the ozone layer. Our oceans have become dumping grounds for human waste. Glaciers are melting and breaking off, causing water levels to rise.
All of us have been called to be faithful stewards. The evidence suggests something quite to the contrary. This remarkable planet we call Earth is speaking to us from every direction. Our intelligent designer requires us to listen, but will we ever listen to reason?
