I think the time has come for employers who utilize citizen band communications to take some responsibility for cleaning up their employees’ use of foul language in CB broadcasts. I don’t believe it would be too much to ask for employers to place a note in employees paychecks, or some other notification, putting them on notice.
CB users should know that there are children, as well as other adults, listening to CB traffic. Would a company’s officials want employees using such language, knowing it would be a reflection on the business?
Realistically, many would not comply, but, even if only for a while, it would be a start in the right direction.
