Did you believe the U.S. government was going to be equitable in handling Social Security?
Granted, Social Security was the government’s idea, the government had total control and everyone expected the government to do right by its people. After all, we are the ones that elect them.
However, did we really expect the government to do something right and not turn Social Security into a political agenda? I find it surprising the government is admitting it can’t handle Social Security. However, I don’t find it surprising that the government is telling us to trust them in everything else.
Over the years, Washington politicians have set themselves up nicely, and I don’t think what affects the average person is ever felt in Washington.
