LEWISTON — A late-morning problem at a substation on Mill Street in Lewiston caused about 3,000 customers — and at least a dozen streetlights — to lose power Saturday in the downtown area.

Power was restored after about two hours.

According to Central Maine Power’s website, no customers in Lewiston were without power as of 3 p.m.
