For the benefit of Auburn, I am compelled and delighted to recommend Dave Pierson as a positive choice for City Council.

Dave Pierson’s capabilities and commitment for our community are demonstrated in his 10-year board membership at the Good Shepherd Food Bank. This position of service has none of the glory or glamour associated with many board opportunities, but is a commitment to caring for those in need at high personal cost through devotion of time, labor and guardianship.

In fact, I would say that a large part of the Good Shepherd Food Bank’s success and growth is due to Dave’s leadership. His construction background and legal expertise were instrumental in the construction of our new facility on Hotel Road. We now provide food to almost 70,000 of Maine’s neediest people each month. We are fortunate to have a man of this caliber willing to build our community.
