Some people are saying the tax cap is no big deal. Some people are saying it is just a scare tactic, but others like me are very concerned about it.
If this tax cap passes, nothing will be the same. Teachers will lose their jobs, and a lot of other people will lose their jobs as well. Money problems will become even more of a problem. Our schools will not be the same. Kids, like me, want to learn, and without teachers it is very difficult.
We also need our firemen, policemen and our ambulances, too. If this tax cap passes, think of what it would do to the community. We would have to pay a fireman from another town to come put out a fire because there would be no fire stations near us.
If the people in this community are like me, they would not want to wait longer for help. They would not want their children to go to school with barely any teachers, and I am sure nobody wants to be unemployed.
If we want to keep our community together, we can’t let this tax cap pass. This is very important. If we want to keep our community the way it is now, we can’t just sit around and talk about it, we have to get up and do something. I want our policemen, I want our fireman, I want our ambulances, and, being a kid, I want to learn in a school with teachers.
