On June 8, Republicans in District 71 will have an opportunity to support Bob Macdonald in the primary. Macdonald has been a dedicated volunteer for the Republican Party, serving as former chairman of the Androscoggin County Republican Committee and the Lewiston Republican Committee. Bob also is a former member of the Maine Republican State Committee.

Macdonald served with the Lewiston Police Department for 23 years. Bob was a former detective, who worked with juveniles, including the Officer Friendly program. I have known Bob Macdonald for over 16 years, and he has served his city with integrity. Macdonald will be fiscally responsible, as he understands what impact out-of-control property taxes have on working families and senior citizens.
