This is to urge people to vote for Peggy Rotundo in the Democratic primary June 8.

Peggy has been a tireless advocate for this community. She is on the Appropriations Committee of the Legislature, and has worked hard to balance the need for fiscal responsibility with the urgent needs of education, health care and other human services.

She spoke out early on the need for sensible property taxes, especially for those living on fixed incomes. At the same time, in the recent crisis over funding for services to people with brain injuries, she was a strong advocate for maintaining those services.

With the sharp decrease in federal funding, connected to the large federal tax cuts, it is an extremely difficult time to be a state legislator. Peggy is wise, experienced, sensitive to the needs of her community, in touch with her constituents and a person of unimpeachable integrity.
