Herbert Cooper writes in Saturday’s (May 8) edition of the Sun Journal that he is upset at the illustration depicting Paul Wolfowitz and Donald Rumsfeld as chimpanzees.
I think it is the chimps who should be insulted.
I flash back to Rumsfeld’s remarks concerning the Geneva Convention and how it does not apply to his enemy combatant theory. Such relaxed and rampant mistreatment of POWs, that we finally see printed, indicates a lax and arrogant attitude throughout the entire system.
Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz are two of the main architects of this cocky network. They should be held accountable and the chimps should be spared the indignation.
