I would like to voice my strong support for the re-election of Peggy Rotundo to the state Senate. Peggy has continued her tireless efforts to improve education and health care.

When those of us who work with the brain-injured of Maine voiced our concerns about the dramatic cuts in services being proposed, Peggy was a great listener and voice of reason. During this current budgetary crisis, Peggy worked to find ways to save money and better manage programs so that essential health care services for those in need would not be lost.

Peggy is one of the most conscientious and family-oriented persons that I know, and she is able to make the tough choices that are required during periods of budgetary shortfall.

She will continue to work hard to ensure that the limited resources of the state are best used to serve the citizens of Lewiston and Maine.
