Lewiston and Auburn want to project an image of construction and economic growth. If they spend thousands and thousands of dollars on in-town projects and don’t pay any attention to outlying areas, they are in for a surprise.

Who, coming into Lewiston and Auburn over the Veterans Bridge and seeing all the trash and junk along the drive lane, will come into town? Or will they go the other way?

Let’s have a day to clean our bridge as a donation to Lewiston and Auburn. Let’s do it. The town leaders don’t give a care.
