What, if any, is the real agenda for the non-reappointment of Planning Board member Sue Ellis? Is there a “grass-roots” movement to do away with zoning completely? Statements abounded about Sue’s attention to detail, is that her downfall in this movement? Is it because she supports zoning? Was it to her detriment that there was such an outpouring of support at last selectmen’s meeting?

Are these selectmen out to fulfill their own agenda? If so, is it “do what you want, when you want, where you want?” If that is the case, I can see why Sue was singled out.

My concern is, if this is the backdoor ousting movement, where will this take the town of Poland?
