Here we go again. I am not for the casino or against the casino, but it ticks me off when I hear about both sides arguing about the displacement of all of the money that is supposed to be made.

The yes group says the money will benefit schools and create better living conditions and so on.

But the no group has a whole different story. You have one of the top people that is against the casino. The ex-governor, Angus King, what is his point of view worth? He knows nothing about accountability. He says gambling in Maine or the Indian casino is no good. When he was governor, what did he do with the $37 million Gov. Baldacci can’t find? Leave it as a tip?

It was a good thing that Gov. King only had two terms. Can you imagine how much money he could have lost or misplaced again if he was still there? I bet the people of Maine would have paid for the entire Iraqi war. I think he ought to spend his time apologizing to the citizens of Maine for the mishandling of our money and not worry about the casinos.
