Why is it that our society has become so judgmental of others? As a 15-year-old, I am really concerned about our future.
I have witnessed a number of such examples. Some of these examples are making fun of people’s sexuality by using hurtful words, and also people commenting on how certain groups or people dress.
Another example is that people spread nasty rumors about a person without even knowing them.
I also think it has to do with the crowd people hang out with. For example, if you are not in the so-called “in crowd” then you are shunned by half of the school’s population.
If people try to voice their opinions they are considered weird because their opinions are not just one of the million, they are one in a million.
So my question is: how do we rate ourselves in a judgmental society?
