In response to Judy and Steve Bennett’s letter of March 19, I want to thank them for the support that they have for the public officials of Buckfield.
As a member of the Board of Directors for SAD 39, I can say from my 2 1/2 years on the board that the majority of townspeople are more quick to criticize us for some of the things that we do wrong than they are to commend us for what we do right, or to even thank any of the town officials in general for representing our great town.
Being a school board director, town manager/clerk, volunteer fireman or rescue personnel can be a thankless job, and it’s nice to see someone give some positive support for the hard work and continued dedication that public officials have for the town of Buckfield.
