The L & A Veterans Council is in support of keeping all veterans’ centers open in the state of Maine.

Our experience is that whenever a veteran needs any kind of information, we normally send them to the vet center. Or, if they need a document to support any claim at the VA or for other reason, or a copy of their DD214 (which many times families will need for the funeral of a veteran), this is the place to go and we appreciate all the work that they do.

The veterans have done a lot to keep this country free. Now let’s support the vet centers so that our veterans can get what they need.
