Ever since the British caught a bunch of terrorists recently, we have had to listen to the blowhards in power accusing anyone and everyone except themselves. They have been in control for more than five years, and much more of the world hates this country than ever before.
Osama bin Laden is still free and enlisting thousands more of the fanatical, while our military has to enlist volunteers with criminal records to meet its quotas; the 9/11 commission reported that Iraq is diverting attention and money from security at home; and the vice president is pointing his finger at Connecticut voters as if it is their fault.
My grandmother always said, “When you point a finger at someone, there are three more pointing at you.”
It’s a pity that some Republicans didn’t have a smart grandmother like mine.
