Maine high school racewalker and five-time All-American Matthew Forgues of Boothbay earned the second spot on the three-member USA Junior Team roster for the Americas Racewalk Cup to be held in San Salvador, El Salvador, May 1 and 2. Trevor Barron of Bethel Park, Pa., won the race in 44:26, with Forgues second at 48:03 2nd in 48:03, and Ricardo Vergara of Pharr, Tex., third in 48:04.
