LEWISTON – The Lewiston Recreation Department announces that slots are still available for the Lewiston Recreation 2007-08 Co-Ed Winter Basketball League.
The program is for boys and girls, grades 2 through 10. The cost for Lewiston residents is $45 per youth, and includes a t-shirt. Non-resident fee is $55.
Age groups will be divided into Micros, Midgets, Juniors and Seniors, with mandatory player evaluation & mandatory player round robin action. The player round robins begin this weekend.
Participants in the league will play at least 12 regular season games, practice once a week, and experience 2 weeks of playoffs, with the exception of no playoffs for Grades 2 & 3 Micros.
To sign up for the remaining open slots, call or stop by the Lewiston Rec Department weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Inquiries also may be forwarded to 513-3005 (TTY/TDD: 513-3007).
