LEWISTON – BT Pallet is the top seed as the double-elimination playoffs begin Tuesday night in the Lewiston Rec National Division Softball League.

Following is Tuesday’s opening schedule: 6 p.m., Game 1, Gridiron (4) vs Schemengee’s/Little Joe’s (5), Randall-1; Game 2, 20-M Club (3) vs Carlton Club (6), Randall-2. Wednesday’s slate: 6:00, Game 3, BT Pallet vs winner Gridiron-Schemengee’s, Randall-3; Game 4, Gipper’s (2) vs winner 20-M/Carlton, Upper Franklin.

The tourney continues August 13, 14, 15 and 16, with the championship game slated for Friday, August 17 at 6:00 at R-1. The “if” game would be played Monday, August 20 at the same site.

Coed begins tonight

LEWISTON – Playoffs in the Lewiston Rec Coed American Softball League are slated to start tonight, as follows: 6:00, Buddy T’s (1) vs Citistreet (8), Randall-1; Play It Again Sports (4) vs DHHS (5), R-2; Mulligan’s (2) vs McDonald’s (7), R-3; Gilbert Masonry (3) vs Akers Crusaders (6), Upper Franklin.

The tourney will continue on Saturday at 8 a.m., with the championship game set for 2 p.m. at Randall-3.
