LEWISTON – Sydney Moore drove in the winning run in the last of the sixth as Play It Again Sports edged Healey’s Associates 9-8 in the South Lewiston Little League Major Softball Division. Michelle Malia ws the winning pitcher. Bethany Fox, Kayla McAtee and Meagan Mathon played fine defense.

Erica Lemieux belted 3 hits for Healy’s. Makaela Field and Brittany Bell were defensive stars. Taylor Texeira hurled a fine game and legged out a triple.

LEWISTON – Rowe Lewiston nipped Aubuchon 2-1 in the Major Division. Evan Bourassa hurled a complete game, allowing just 3 hits. Zach McBride drilled the game-winning hit in the last of the 6th. Coleman Morency tripled for the winners. Peter Tirabassi was a repeat hitter for Aubuchon. Tough-luck losing pitcher Jordan Charest yielded just 4 safeties.

Auburn Suburban

AUBURN – Dillingham & Son split a pair of recent games in the Minor Division. Pat’s Pizza toppled Dillingham 8-2 as Matt Verrill went 4-4 and C.J. Jipson cracked 3 hits. For Dillingham, Tyler Couture went 3-3 and Cole Butler added 2 hits. . . Dillingham raised its record to 3-4 by defeating Hammond Lumber 9-5. Steve Sinclair and Aidan Dollan-Olveto both enjoyed a 4-4 night. Brady Gosselin and Sam Rideout were repeat hitters for the Lumbermen.
