KENTS HILL – The Maranacook Youth Area Hockey Pee Wee team split a pair of games during the weekend.
Saturday at Bridgton Academy, Maranacook skated to a 5-3 victory over Western Maine. Ian Palmer, Alex Ingram, Chris Stanley, Jason Stevenson and Tyler Stockford all lit the lamp. Assists went to Sam Bryant, Kilton Webb, Ingram and Palmer. Breanna Martin netted 2 goals for Western. Nathan Tozier notched the other.
Sunday at Kents Hill, Maranacook dropped a 3-1 decision to Kennebec. Ingram tallied the lone Maranacook goal, assisted by Stockford. Zach Glazier potted 2 goals for Kennebec. Austin Davis registered the other. Shawn Zubrod received an assist. Josh Ehiorobo was the winning goalie.
River Mullen goaled both games for Maranacook (10-9-2).
