AUBURN – Only 3 games were played this week in the Auburn Rec Player’s Softball League. Thursday’ schedule was postponed to Wednesday, May 31 at the same times and sites.

In the 3 games played during opening week, Uncle Andy’s rolled past Sun Journal 24-12; RDB Construction edged Major Automotive 12-11; and Melanson-Webber Avenue Club trimmed Gritty’s 23-4.

Waterville tourney set

WATERVILLE – The Waterville Summer Sizzler Softball Tournament is scheduled for June 3 with a $100 entry fee. It’s a men’s slow pitch tourney.
